The Office of the Dean of Students hosted the Student Leadership Orientation and Capacity-Building Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year on 13 August 2026. Led by Prof. Augustinna Akonnkor, the programme brought together SRC and association executives for a structured introduction to their responsibilities.
Sessions covered institutional governance, quality assurance, democratic leadership, event planning, digital branding and financial stewardship. Representatives from the public administration, law and business student associations participated alongside the Student Representative Council.
The initiative connects quality education with accountable institutions. It prepares student executives to represent their peers, manage resources and communicate responsibly throughout their term.
