Bursaries and scholarships for brilliant but needy students, financed through the GIMPA Endowment Fund.
The GIMPA Endowment was established in March 2022 with a target of raising one billion cedis. Contributions are invested and a portion of the proceeds is used to support student scholarships and bursaries for brilliant but needy students, as well as research, endowed chairs and infrastructure.
Programme websiteIn July 2022 the Rector, Professor Samuel Kwaku Bonsu, announced that GIMPA would from February 2023 offer scholarships to about 100 needy students to read specially designed undergraduate courses. The programme, described as a corporate social responsibility initiative, was to include work placement, travel abroad and community service.
